Handlers Meeting Notes

1. All handlers must park in the designated handler area — NO EXCEPTIONS.
2. Handlers will exhaust the run following theirs. If you are unable to exhaust, you are responsible for finding a replacement. This includes after the sheep are moved up halfway through.
3. There is both a water tub to lie in and a bucket to drink from at the exhaust. Please don't use the drinking water to top up the bathing tub — let the course director know if it is low and it will be refilled.
4. Friday we will exhaust to the East. Saturday we will exhaust to the West. Sunday TBA.
5. If the sheep reach the following areas they are considered off course: a) the woods, b) on the fence at the exhaust pens unless it occurred as a result of the shed, c) back at the setout pen. Off-course sheep will result in a DQ.
6. You can retire at any time and keep your points for the combined trophy, but will get an RT on the day.
7. There will be sandwich orders this year — it is recommended you place your order immediately after the handlers meeting.
8. Friday awards presented after each class. Saturday awards presented at Sunday's handlers meeting. Sunday awards and the championship trophy presented at the end of Sunday competition.
9. Winner of the Open Combined MUST be present to collect the trophy at the end of the day Sunday.

Open Notes

1. Saturday Open is the Scio Shed — rules are here. Sunday will be a standard marked shed.
2. Saturday course time is 12 minutes; Sunday course time is 11 minutes.
3. Outrun will be approximately 425 yards; drive legs will be 150 yards each.
4. Shed will precede pen both days.
5. You may enter the shedding ring once one sheep is in the ring.

Nursery & PN Notes

1. Outrun 300 yards, drive legs 100 yards.
2. Course time 7 minutes.
3. Go to pen once sheep make or miss the cross-drive panel.

Brace Notes

1. Dogs of any other class can compete in brace.
2. Course time 16 minutes.

4. You may stop at any point in your run and retain points earned to that point.
