Support WCSDS

Whistle and Crook Stock Dog Services Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation focused on the promotion of and education concerning the use of herding dogs for livestock management and competition.

WCSDS leads and financially supports the Fleece & Fur 4H herding club based in Linn County, Oregon. We host the Northwest Championship Sheepdog Trial, the oldest continually running sheepdog trial in America, and we host multiple herding clinics during the course of the year. The sheepdog trial is our major fundraising event for the year — we run the clinics on a break-even basis to keep costs down as much as possible for participants.

We raise money at the sheepdog trial by taking sponsors for the competing dogs and sponsors for the event as a whole. In order to expand our education activities we are always looking for new patrons, sponsors and donors.
